Performances
- Every student will be given the opportunity to perform; however, taking part in a performance is not mandatory. All students will be treated equally regardless of the decision to perform. Parents are responsible for communicating the decision not to perform to their child.
- Students interested in maximizing their performance opportunities should request information on the Elite Performance Group.
- Students must be enrolled by February to participate in the June show
- Students must be enrolled by August to perform in the December show
- Students may not miss more than 2 classes during the 6 weeks prior to a performance
- Excessive absences, tardiness and conduct may affect a student's ability to perform
- Instructor's have the discretion to allow new students to perform, regardless of when they join a class
- Dress rehearsals and rehearsals prior to a performance are mandatory
- No video cameras or flash photography will be permitted during any performances
- Parents are responsible for purchasing all costumes and accessories for a performance through the ELITE Dance Studio costume program by the required date
- Festival photographs will be available, at the cost of the parent/student, are optional & available prior to Studio shows
- Students are required to remain in designated backstage areas at all performances. Only studio staff and students are permitted in these areas.
- The annual Festival will include students from all classes except the ELITE Dance Studios Ballet Program
- In the event of a natural disaster or acts out of our immediate control we will do our best to reschedule any and all performances. However, there is no guarantee that this will be possible. We appreciate your understanding.
