2011 AUDITIONS

Saturday August 6, 2011
1pm: ballet
3pm: pointe
3:30pm: jazz
4:15pm: tap
5pm: hip hop

Please arrive 15mins prior to the
scheduled audition time

Ballet attire: leotard, tights, bun, ballet shoes
Pointe attire: leotard, tights, bun, pointe shoes
Jazz attire: leotard or dance top & shorts, jazz shoes
Tap attire: leotard or dance top & shorts, tap shoes
Hip Hop: gear that makes you feel awesome! Hip Hop shoes

AUDITION INFO:

1. Sign in immediately upon arrival
2. Choreography will be taught at the audition
3. Come prepared with shoes and required attire
4. Dancers are allowed to observe
5. Parents are not permitted to observe
6. Bring water & snacks

*Auditions are open to all dancers who have fulfilled the studio policy requirements

*Receiving a role is not guaranteed; dancers are encouraged to audition for the experience

*Costume fittings will take place August 27th - mandatory attendance for all auditioned roles (dancers who are unavailable forfeit the role received)

*All scheduled rehearsals are mandatory, no exceptions (dancers who miss rehearsals will forfeit the role to the understudy)

ELITE Dance Studios makes history with a custom written Broadway style production! Leading the way in new and innovative Holiday shows all of the ELITE dancers have the opportunity to perform in this colorful heartfelt story.
